In line with the 2024/2025 work plan, in 2024 TFTEI is revising and updating the guidance document on control techniques for emissions of sulphur, nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds and particulate matter (including PM10, PM2.5 and black carbon) from stationary sources of 2015.

The Task Force’s main focus is to address emission abatement technologies for stationary and mobile sources in relation to atmospheric emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur dioxide (SO2), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter (PM), including black carbon, heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants (POPs).
The activities are carried out also in cooperation with the experts appointed by the Parties to the Convention and the stakeholders from Industry, pursuing the ultimate objective of the implementation of the Convention.
